Strong Women
&
Gentle Men
This is Tammy. She was my farrier for a few years and she impressed me as one strong woman! Heck, her biceps were the size of my thighs and she was a natural with horses. There is much to know and appreciate about Tammy. She is the first of between 10 and 20 portraits of women and men that I will be presenting to the public in a show in 2019 or 2020. They are people in which I found inspiration when doubt and fear were having their way with me. I am grateful for their wise words and grounding support.

Into the dark to find light
How this artist grieves to feel love
When I'm stressed my "go to" mask is always anger and I get very busy! In this body of work I will be exploring, through sketches, my journey walking and more often running with or from many feelings, separately and sometimes all together. I also wrote poems and statements to express these emotions from that time. I may pull the previous project "Strong Women, Gentle Men" into this exhibit as they were the lights I fought to anchor myself to.

Weekend at Many Point
by Jo Mundy (working title)
This project is a dream come true for me! I always wanted to illustrate a children's book. This is one of about 30 illustrations to be done.
