This client asked his partner what she would like for her 50th birthday.  This scene is one that this couple enjoys every summer when they get together with friends and experience the exquisite beauty and serenity of the river.  It was painted from a photo they provided taken from the mouth of Lake Pepin on the Mississippi River.
